In order to cope with the pace of the ever changing environment to enable Hong Kong people to maintain their competitive strength, SA Consulting & Associates (SA), would like to provide a course on ˇ§Certificate in Environmental Managementˇ¨ which is a first accredited programme by the Charted Institute of Environmental Health , UK (CIEH) to be conducted in Hong Kong .

Who should attend
The proposed training course is designed for middle managers and supervisors, Foreman who have responsibility for decision-making, managing budgets, allocating tasks and meeting specific performance targets. It will also enable them to take corrective action and be confident in with environmental issues and customer queries as well as Government project.
The course is also open for health & safety practitioners, engineers, nurses and environmental health professionals, who would like to obtain the professional training in environmental management to enable them with confidence to take up more responsibility in their daily work.
Course Objective
Successful completion will enable participants to:
- Have an understanding of a range of environmental issues including environmental science, policy and management;
- Identify and evaluate the environmental effects of an organization;
- Understand the procedure for developing an environmental policy;
- Contribute to an environmental management programme and identify appropriate management technique;
- Understand the procedure for conducting and environmental audit and producing an environmental report;
- Understand what an environmental management system is and the different standards available for their certification; &
- Participate in the identification of specific training needs.
Award of Certificate & Professional Recognition
The Certificate awarded by the CIEH, which founded in 1883, is a professional and educational body, dedicated to the promotion of environmental health and to encouraging the highest possible standards in the training and the work of environmental health professionals.
Attended at least 80% of the lectures, satisfactorily completed the required assignments and passed the examination.
The CIEH awarded certificate is well recognized internationally by professional bodies and organizations as an evidence of professional training.
